Welcome to Food and Nutrition Services!

The Harrisonville Schools Food and Nutrition Services meal program serves appealing, reasonably priced meals to your child and to all the students in the Harrisonville School District. (Eligible students may receive meals free or at a reduced price.)

Meals are planned by the Director of Food and Nutrition Services, with assistance from cafeteria managers and input from students. All meals meet the criteria and regulations of the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Missouri State Department of Education. Menus are planned with the goal of providing students with one third of their Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) for key nutrients and calories. Extra effort is made to provide low fat alternatives and to keep the average of calories from fat below 30 percent.

Milk is served with each meal. Students have a choice of skim, chocolate skim and 1%. An extra milk can be purchased for 50 cents.

The Harrisonville Schools Food and Nutrition Service Department is located at the district's Distribution Center, 1200 Eastwood Road.

Sherry Richardson is the Director of Food and Nutrition Services and can be reached at
380-4226, ext. 1021 or emailed at sherry.richardson@harrisonvilleschools.org
